Ailsa graduated from the University of Glasgow in 2011, earning commendations for her outstanding performance. Since then she has dedicated her career to Oakbank Dental, where she completed her Vocational Training year, and has continued to serve the community with exceptional care.
Whilst at university Ailsa balanced her studies with a job at a bank, developing a strong work ethic and attention to detail, qualities that have become hallmarks of her approach to dentistry. For five years, she split her time between Oakbank and a practice in Pitlochry, honing her skills across a range of dental disciplines.
Ailsa’s passion lies in helping patients achieve both functional and aesthetic dental perfection, driven by her commitment to making people feel happier and more confident with their smiles. A self-confessed perfectionist, she strives for 100% satisfaction in every procedure, ensuring that her patients receive the highest standard of care.
Ailsa has completed a three-year postgraduate course in restorative dentistry, further enhancing her expertise. She is also eager to expand her knowledge with a year-long diploma in aesthetic dentistry.
Beyond the practice, Ailsa enjoys spending quality time with her young family, cooking, travelling and occasionally unwinding with a glass of wine.

A dedicated professional, Kaylea holds degrees from both Robert Gordon University (2010) and Aberdeen University (2016), and has been a member of the Oakbank Dental team since 2016.
Before transitioning to dentistry, Kaylea worked as an MRI Diagnostic Radiographer in hospitals across Dundee and Perth and served as a locum on a mobile MRI scanner while completing her dental studies.
During her Vocational Training year, Kaylea gained valuable experience at both Oakbank Dental and Kenney and Mackay in Perth.
She has a genuine passion for meeting new people, helping patients regain their confidence and creating beautiful smiles. Trained in facial aesthetics, she specialises in wrinkle-reducing injections, adding another dimension to the comprehensive care she provides.
Kaylea is known for her warm and chatty nature (which sometimes challenges her time-keeping!) but always enhances her connection with patients. She is deeply empathetic to the anxieties many people feel about dental visits and is committed to making every patient’s journey as comfortable as possible.
Her vision is to build a practice where patients love to visit and staff love to work.
Outside of work, Kaylea enjoys outdoor adventures with her children, embracing every moment of their energetic explorations.
Carla Boyle BDS, MFDS, RCPSG
Associate Dentist

Carla is a skilled and compassionate dentist who joined the team at Oakbank Dental in 2024.
Graduating from the University of Glasgow in 2022, Carla has quickly built a diverse and impressive career, having previously worked at Edinburgh General Dental Practice, Lothian Public Dental Service and St John's Hospital.
Carla has a particular interest in maxillofacial surgery, anxiety management, oral surgery and paediatric dentistry. Her dedication to patient care is evident in her patient and positive approach, making her a reassuring presence for even the most anxious patients. Her friendly demeanour helps her build strong connections with patients of all ages.
Committed to developing her skills, Carla plans to attend various courses to ensure she can continually provide the highest standard of care.
Outside of her professional life, Carla enjoys running, skiing, baking, sewing and crocheting, balancing her active lifestyle with creative hobbies.
Kaye Brown RDH

Kaye is a dedicated and experienced Dental Hygienist who has been passionately serving her patients for over 20 years.
She began her journey in the dental profession at the age of 16 as a Dental Nurse, where she quickly discovered her enthusiasm for hands-on patient care and oral health.
Kaye pursued her studies at Dundee Dental Hospital, where she graduated in 2004. Immediately after graduation she joined the team at Oakbank Dental, where she has been a vital member ever since. Her dedication to her profession and her patients has made her an invaluable asset to the practice.
Kaye is known for her warm and engaging approach, always taking the time to interact with her patients and help them improve their oral health. Her enthusiasm and passion for her work are evident in everything she does, whether it's providing personalised care or staying up-to-date with the latest advancements in dental hygiene through her continuing professional development.
As a team player, Kaye loves the collaborative environment at Oakbank Dental, where she contributes not only her skills but also her positive energy.
She is particularly fond of a single-tufted toothbrush(!) - a tool she swears by for maintaining excellent oral hygiene.
When she's not in the clinic, Kaye enjoys catching up with friends and spending quality time with her family.

Amy's journey in dental care began after she graduated from Dundee Dental School in September 2014, bringing with her a strong foundation in dental nursing and a passion for patient care.
Before embarking on her dental career, Amy gained valuable experience working as a customer assistant at Marks & Spencer, where she honed her interpersonal skills and developed a strong sense of organisation and dependability. These qualities have been pivotal in her role at Oakbank Dental, where she joined the team in June 2012 and quickly established herself as an essential member of the practice.
Amy's outstanding organisational skills and her ability to manage complex tasks with precision make her an invaluable asset in the clinic. She is deeply committed to helping patients achieve their dream smiles, providing compassionate care and support throughout their dental journey.
As a Senior Dental Nurse, Amy takes great pride in her role and is eager to continue developing her skills and responsibilities within the practice. Her dedication to professional growth is matched by her enthusiasm for learning and staying at the forefront of dental care.

She graduated from Dundee Dental School in 2022 and has already amassed six years of experience in the dental nursing field. Eva joined the Oakbank Dental team the same year she graduated.
Eva is particularly dedicated to supporting nervous patients, guiding them through their dental journey with patience and understanding and helping them overcome their fears. Her attentive and approachable nature makes her a trusted colleague and a reassuring presence for both patients and staff.
Known for her adaptability and organisational skills, Eva excels in her role at Oakbank Dental. She is committed to her professional development and is excited about her future plans to become a Childsmile nurse, where she hopes to play a vital role in promoting children's oral health through the Childsmile Programme.
Eva also dreams of participating in a dental aid trip abroad, where she can extend her care to communities in need.
Outside of her professional life, Eva is an avid adventurer who enjoys wild camping, paddle boarding and cold water swimming. Eva also loves socialising with friends and family over a gin, attending gigs and festivals and embracing the vibrant experiences life has to offer.

Louise is an enthusiastic and driven Trainee Dental Nurse who joined Oakbank Dental in 2023.
With a diverse background and a passion for learning, Louise is quickly making her mark in the dental field. She previously attended Perth College, where she achieved an HNC in Technical Theatre, showcasing her versatility and ability to excel in various disciplines.
Before transitioning to a career in dental nursing, Louise gained valuable experience working as a waitress, where she developed strong teamwork and customer service skills.
Her organised and supportive nature has made her a valued member of the Oakbank team, where she enjoys contributing to the collaborative environment and continuously expanding her knowledge.
Louise is currently focused on gaining her Dental Nurse qualification and is committed to achieving this goal in the near future. Her dedication to her training and her colleagues is evident in her day-to-day work, where she strives to be a dependable and organised team player.

She graduated from Dundee Dental Hospital in 1996 and has since become a cornerstone of the Oakbank team, where she has worked diligently for the past 25 years.
With 32 years in the dental profession, Pauline brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to her role. Before joining Oakbank Dental, she honed her skills at Nelson Street Dental Practice in Perth, where she developed her strong organisational abilities and meticulous attention to detail.
Pauline is known for her great diligence and efficiency, ensuring that the practice runs smoothly and that both patients and staff are well-supported. Her commitment to excellence and her unwavering professionalism have made her an invaluable member of the Oakbank team.
Outside of her professional life, Pauline enjoys staying active by visiting the gym and spending quality time socialising with her family. Vicky is a highly respected Dental Nurse and Receptionist at Oakbank Dental, with an extensive career in the dental profession spanning 26 years.
A graduate of Dundee Dental School in February 2008, Vicky has been an integral part of the Oakbank team since 1998, bringing her warmth, expertise and dedication to every aspect of her role.
Vicky is passionate about her work, especially when it comes to meeting and greeting patients. Over the years, she has built strong and trusting relationships with them, understanding their needs and supporting them throughout their dental journeys. Her caring nature and genuine interest in each patient's well-being have made her a beloved figure at Oakbank Dental.
As she approaches retirement in the near future, Vicky is looking forward to the next exciting chapter of her life—becoming a granny. Her joy for life extends beyond the clinic, where she enjoys baking delicious treats and serving as the tea lady at Meigle Cricket Club. Vicky also loves spending time walking and cherishing moments with her family.
